Camber ReignBack to the race ↗

APPSOVERFLOW · UPDATED 2 OCTOBER 2026

Your race.
Your choice.

This notice explains the information used by Camber Reign, a browser racing game from AppsOverFlow.

Records stored on your device

Your selected car and circuit, favourite cars, sound settings, steering sensitivity, control bindings and accessibility preferences, selected race mode and difficulty, analytics choice, best race time, drift score, race-credit balance, per-car upgrades and paint, campaign objectives, car mastery, per-circuit setups, driving-school progress, circuit medals, three-race tour standings and recent race reward IDs are stored in your browser. Race records are separated by the car, circuit, mode, difficulty and supported driving-rule/build scope. The game does not require a player account, name or email address. Browser storage can contain replay positions and orientations for a local best-run ghost. Replays stay on your device unless you deliberately include them in a downloaded backup file; they are not sent as analytics.

Use Privacy → Clear race records in the game to remove saved race records. This keeps your upgrade levels, credit balance, paint choices, campaign, mastery, setups, circuit medals and tour history. Clearing this website’s browser data removes its settings and workshop progress as well. If browser storage is unavailable, you can still play; settings, favourite cars, records, upgrades, credits and paint choices will last only for the current page session.

App installation and reconnect storage

Installation is optional. A service worker stores a small reconnect page, its Retry script, two app icons, a logo and two fonts in this browser. If an online request fails, these files can show a reconnect screen. This cache does not contain race pages, car models, your saved progress or analytics data, and it does not enable offline racing. Game pages are requested from the network. Worker updates wait for existing tabs to close and do not reload an active race.

Clearing this website’s browser data removes its reconnect cache as well as locally saved game progress and preferences. Installing the app does not create an account or add cross-device save syncing.

Portable backup files

If you choose Save backup, the game downloads a JSON file containing its local progress, preferences and controls, paint, favorites, campaign, mastery, setups, tours, driving-school progress, records and replay data. Import validates that file, shows a preview and asks before replacing game progress. A local recovery snapshot remains available until the replacement is verified or the original is restored. Backup contents are not uploaded to a service, placed in URLs or sent as analytics. Analytics consent and authentication data are excluded, and an import does not change your analytics choice. This is manual transfer without accounts, sign-in or automatic cloud sync.

Bringing saves from the previous address

Camber Reign was previously named Blacktop Bay. If you choose Bring your saved progress, a separate window on the former address reads only this game’s saved settings, upgrades, credits, paint, favourites, records and career data. The two pages exchange that save directly inside your browser; save contents are not placed in URLs or uploaded to a server. The new page verifies the sending address and window, asks before replacing existing progress, and stores a local backup. The previous save is not deleted. Analytics consent is excluded, so the new address asks for its own choice.

Optional gameplay analytics

Google Analytics 4 is loaded through Google Tag Manager only after you choose Allow analytics. Choosing Essential only keeps these tags from loading. You can change your decision through the game’s Privacy button.

When enabled, gameplay analytics covers page views, car and circuit selections, opening the garage, race starts and completions, laps, pauses, resumes, resets and Nitro use. It also supports bounded loading success/failure timings, driving-school steps, upgrade component and level, result-screen actions, challenge-link copy/download actions and occasional performance summaries. Details are limited to known game choices and numbers: chosen car or circuit, mode, difficulty, position, duration, drift score, reset count, tutorial step, upgrade level, an action category, the 75th-percentile frame interval, graphics tier, draw calls and rendered triangles. We do not send your name, email address, raw keystrokes, control bindings, motion-sensor readings, save-file contents, file names, replay frames, challenge URLs or local race history. Page addresses sent by the game exclude query strings and fragments; referral details are limited to the referring origin.

Google can process technical request information, including browser and device information and approximate location. Analytics cookies may be set when you opt in. Turning analytics off stops new game events, disables this game’s measurement and removes its accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase events already sent to Google.

Advertising and Google services

Camber Reign is being submitted for Google AdSense review. The current game includes publisher verification information but does not load ad-serving code or display advertisements. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation are denied in the current analytics setup. Any future advertising integration will require an update to this notice and the relevant consent controls.

You can read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner websites.

Hosting and external links

Firebase Hosting delivers the game and can process ordinary technical request logs, including network and device information needed to serve and protect the website. Links to AppsOverFlow and Google open services with their own privacy practices.
